BALLB -Importance of law


 Law is an enforceable body of rules which is made by the legislative body and execute by the executive body and interpret by the judiciary. As it is a collection of principles which regulate the relations of individual to individual and individual to state. Law has various importance and functions in the society or state, which are summarised below: 

a. Law has a important role in society where it protects the life, liberty and property of people.

b. Law is a indicator of society which guides and direct the society to maintain peace , progress, development and pursuance of happiness in the society.

c. Law is a tool which helps to eradicate the criminal activities of society.

d. It criminalize the wrongdoer of society.

e. Law helps in settlement of disputes.

f. Law helps to protect the interest of weaker section of society.

g. Law is a tool which helps to developed the society.

h. It has a importance to protect the fundamental rights of people.

i. It prohibit unlawful action and permit people to carry out lawful business.

j. Laws aim to promote justice by providing a fair  and impartial system for addressing wrongdoing.

 Overall, the importance of law lies in its ability to establish a just and orderly society where individuals can live with rights, freedoms, and protections. It provides a framework for harmonious coexistence, resolving conflicts, and promoting the well-being of individuals and communities.
